Wisaka Bucha day

is the most important religious holiday in the Buddhist calendar. It celebrates the birth, enlightenment and passing away of the Buddha. According to the Theravada Buddhist traditions observed in South East Asian countries.

The celebrations took place in every city in Thailand. I was in Nong Khai that day and i have been impressed by the quality of the event. I was in the morning in downtown tried  to figure out about the preparations and the meanning of it.
